Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
He's coming to you straight from the 305 & or the Bottom as many from Miami refer to it. His club and radio singles Toma,
Culo, Everybody Get Up, and more are now considered classics. His debut album M.I.A.M.I. has sold over 600,000 copies and is still selling!!! He s constantly touring the country and performs in front ot thousands of his fans every week. This artist goes by one name and one name only...PITBULL.

Pitbull's sophomore release El Mariel has spawned several radio and club anthems such as Bojangles and Ay Chico. And perhaps you've caught his reality show on Mundo, La Esquina.

Now Pitbull unleashes his new album The Boatlift, featuring the single Secret Admirer with Lloyd (of The Inc.) and club smash Go Girl featuring Trina. However you want to categorize the music of Pitbull he knows how to spit serious rhyme, bring the party and pack a dance floor. His latest release also includes the singles Tell Me feat. Frankie J & Ken-Y (the English remix of his Spanish radio hit Dime), plus Sticky Icky feat. Jim Jones. The Boatlift also boasts guest shots by Lil Jon, Twista, Don Omar, Trick Daddy, Fabo of D4L & more.

I deem The Boatlift to be a hughe improvement over El Mariel. I dont know why but i was never a big fan of that record. The Boatlift is en fuego. It contains many club jams such as Go Girl, Candyman, Levantante, and the anthem. One of my all time fav. joints off the record is Stripper Pole. You have to check out this cd.

I love much of his other work. But I'm not feelin' this album at all. I really wanted to dig it, but it's on some other tip. I doubt I'll be listening to this album much. I hope he comes stronger next album!

4 out of 5 stars Don't hesitate to shake!!! ;-)   April 8, 2008

While listening to this new album of Pitbull I really felt the step he made, his albums develope and get better... It's a mixture of different styles and not so much reggae like on his last album (Still M.I.A.M.I, Money is still a major issue). The songs I like best on it are named Go Girl and The Anthem, which has the Put your hands up for Detroit-House melody in it. Spanisch and englisch lyrics. This CD makes me be in a good mood!

2 out of 5 stars Not worth the money   June 4, 2008
Monnie (Left Coast)
Sorry but this cd isn't even worth paying full price for in my opinion. There really are no imaginative lyrics at all, and there really aren't too many songs that even stand out. This seems to be a drop-off from his earlier cd's, and it almost seems like he just rushed to throw the album together. He also has rappers appearing on the cd that no one has heard of before, and their lyrics are worse than his. I have been a Pitbull fan for a few years, but this cd really disappoints!
