This CD is based on the writings of US Andersen; an obscure (yet highly profound)metaphysical author of the 50s and 60s. If you've ever read The Magic in Your Mind or Three Magic Words, you will love this CD. Kelly recommends listening to this before going to sleep. In fact, she says that even if you do go to sleep, it's okay because your subconscious mind will still receive the ideas on a deep level. I do believe that the subconscious can receive information even while in the sleep state, but I prefer to listen to this CD while in a deep meditative state. Even if you've never meditated before, the music and Kelly's voice will put you in such a state. Besides, too people insist that they cannot meditate instead of insisting that they can and this insistence on "not" can actually block the flow. So before you even put those headphones on, just lay on your bed or the floor and allow your eyes to gently close and just breathe slowly in and slowly out and just tell yourself in a reassuring tone, "I can meditate...I can meditate...I can relax...I can let go...I will listen to these ideas...I will absorb these ideas...I will apply these ideas to my every day life..." This may sound like a form of hypnosis, and it is, but most of us, if not all of us, are hypnotized by our limiting beliefs, anyway. Most of us just accept these hand-me-down beliefs about life without question and when we don't question we are bound to accept and experience the mediocre and I don't think that is where you want to be otherwise you wouldn't even be looking at a program like this.
Kelly recommends that you listen to this CD once a day for six weeks. Because I'm such a wiz at numbers, I'll tell you how many times that is, 42...oh, you knew...okay, Professor Smarty Pants...I hear you saying, "42 times! Why do I need to listen to this 42 times?" When we listen to something over and over and over again, those things that we are listening to become a part of us. We all have voices in our heads that have been telling us for years of who we are, what we can do, who we can be and most of those voices are not exactly affirmative, so what is 42 days in the larger scheme of things? I listened to this CD for the full six weeks and I took a break on the 43rd day, I actually missed Kelly's voice. I actually missed having the experience of meditating to a pretty profound CD. So now I use it as part of my daily regime.
We don't have to be walking around in ignorance, anymore. To do this, is to betray life. Not that you can actually betray LIFE in the biggest sense of the word, but you can betray your own life. Why settle for old ideas and worn out beliefs? Why are you still living like a pauper when you were meant to be prosperous and blessed? Why are you living in the dark when all you have to do is turn on the Light, and you, YOU are the Light! Your Spirit, your soul, your Inner-Self is beautiful, magnificent, whole and holy and it can come through...it will come through...if you allow it to. This CD will definitely help get things going in the right direction.

I have been listening to Kelly Howell for awhile now, years I guess. I came across the Secret DVD a few months back and was taken by the DVD. I happened onto Kelly's website just to see if anything was new and saw The Secret Meditation and based off of her other meditation CD's I had to try it out, as it was one-uping everything by adding the Secret into it... I'm so glad they teamed up to allow this meditation to be made... It's wonderful - I've only had it a week but it's my favorite thing to listen to each night as I drift to sleep... You will not go wrong with this purchase - my son is twelve and he was awed by the sound effects, so I'm going to get him his own copy as it will help him too... Soothing and wonderful - what a way to end each day!

You are not going to go wrong with this CD.
Kelly Howell has a very soothing voice and the positive re-enforcement gained from listening to this has been most notable. I feel more positive and more certain about myself and my decisions.

I'm writing this review in response to the accusations by Dr. Rita in a previous review. She says that Ms. Howell is trying to brainwash us into buying her
CDs and is using subliminal messages in The Secret Universal Mind Meditation to achieve that end. Dr. Rita "used fast-forward" and supposedly heard certain titles mentioned and a command to send money. Well, I've just listened to the CD in it's entirety (without fast-forwarding) and found nothing of the sort. I don't know who you are, Dr. Rita, but I question the validity of your findings.
My conclusion after listening is that the CD has the potential to be very powerful if you accept its message. Lots of people have a problem with the idea that they are, essentialy, God. If that is the case you will find the messages on this CD very disturbing, even blasphemous. But there is a growing number of people, myself among them who, for whatever reasons, are beginning to expand their concept of God and starting to realize their Oneness with Infinite Intelligence and their ability to co-create with the Divine. For us the meditation contained on this CD can have a truly amazing and powerful effect.
Clinical hypnotherapists will tell you that most people, when listening to a hypnosis CD, need around 3-4 months for the suggestions to become internalized. I highly suggest using this time frame instead of the 6 weeks suggested by Howell. Because of the potency of the messages contained in the meditation it would be a shame for anyone to discontinue listening if they failed to get results after 6 weeks. Give it at least 3 months.
The only reason I'm giving three stars is that I haven't seen any real results concerning my thought processes or belief structure. Granted, it's only been around a month. But when I achieve the results I'm expecting I hope to give it 5 stars.

This CD has been "positively" life changing for my roommate and I. We have both been faithfully listening every night for the past 5 weeks and I have never felt so positive and happy. Since listening to Kelly's CD I have been watching my life change for the best over and over again - surprisingly so! I have recommended this CD to two of my closest friends and will continue to do so. I will also continue to use The Secret CD as a tool from now on. I am by no means saying that my life is suddenly perfect but I am saying that my thought process is much more positive, I feel more joy and I am genuinely happy. If I do have a moment of feeling insecure or negative, it does not last long and I find I am able to shift the way I'm thinking about the situation much, much sooner and with a positive spin. Where in the past I might have allowed the situation and negative emotions to get the best of me. Also, living in close proximity of someone else listening to the same CD, it is amazing to watch him grow and glow as well. We are both amazed and grateful that I came across this wonderfully uplifting and life changing CD. Thank you, Kelly, Thank you!
