Album Description
Happy-go-lucky? Down-and-out? Yes and yes. Dirty, hook-enriched bluegrass for the broken-hearted features a stunning bonus track record live at the 2003 Bonnaroo Music Festival!

I first heard some as-yet unreleased tracks from LS's next album while at a party at some kid's house who is producing it and I was immediately hooked. I promptly bought the two albums of his I could find on-line, including the Electric Love Letter. For almost a week I listened to only this album. It has this great mixture of blues, hints of zydeco, and a little bit of Brooklyn attitude thrown in. This is one of my favorite CDs of the last year and I will be on the first to buy his next album. Also, if you're in NYC he plays frequently at venues in Brooklyn and the East Village.

2 out of 5 stars Langhorne Slim came up on the slim side.   July 11, 2008

This album is okay. It moved me in no direction except the direction of putting in another cd. I wouldn't call the album "bad", but it is nothing more than ok.

We'll be adding even more exciting features to assist you in the coming year.
