Clean, sharp and quick-drying. A no-frills pen. June 15, 2006 Sanfedisti (Marsala, Sicilia) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have been testing a variety of blue roller ball pens for over a decade and have more or less settled on the Precise V5 Extra Fine. They are generally available at in 5, 7 or 12-packs at places like Staples or here on Amazon. The dozen-pack I have only seen on Staples website, however. I rate this pen a 4 instead of a 5 because I discovered that one of the pens in my 5-pack was defective. It was leaking either from the base or the barrel - I am uncertain. In order to prevent further staining, I simply tossed it out and never definitively discovered the source of the leak or the point of damage. Overall, however, it is a good pen with a decent price tag relative to its competitors, and is one of the few that is available in all-blue packs, in addition to all-black packs.
"Teacher" Pens are Precise! January 9, 2007 Edith Salter (Silsbee, TX USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased 3 of the 7-packs for my daughter's stocking this past Christmas. She grades papers for hours in her teaching position. She had identified the Precise V5 Rolling Ball Pen as "teacher pens" and requested them as a gift. I tried them and find they are excellent in all areas of my office work. No bleeding on the paper! They truly are precise!! A big, big thumb's up!
Best pen ever December 15, 2007 C. M. Hood 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Pilot V5's are the best pen out on the market. They write very smoothly without any effort. This multi pack gives you many colors to enjoy and are great for grading/correcting any papers. They are also great for any kind of doodling. These are my pens of choice and they come to you highly recommended.
Pilot Precise V5 & V7 Pens July 12, 2008 PAS (NY State) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I LOVE these pens. I've used red ones every day work for almost 2 years, and blue ones for over 3. I have everyone I work with hooked on them. They write smoothly, and easily (important for me - I have carpal tunnel syndrome), and the smaller barrel is a great factor. They will write on almost any kind of paper, even tissue-thin self-carboning paper. They rarely skip, and won't clog or dry out, even if you leave the cap off all day. I prefer the V7 to the V5, but the V7 doesn't come in all the same colors, so I have both. I use up at least 1 V7 red pen every 4 weeks or so. The colors stay bright even 4 weeks after I write on something.
If you fill out a lot of forms... September 22, 2008 Mickey Mikeworth (Minneapolis, MN United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
No one can fit everything on teensy little lines. This pen is a unique extra fine tip that is so fine that you can fill out very tiny spaces CLEARLY. There are many fine point pens out on the market and pilot has some of the very best on the planet and this extra fine tip is worth the money and has earned the RICH CHICKS Rave Review. We love these because they stay firm, the tips do not bend, and the ink lasts a long time because the point is so fine. If you are a pen-freak this is an everyday pen you will not lose your temper over if it goes "missing" and yet you can still accomplish great writing with an extraordinary-ordinary everyday pen. And we love the colors this comes in. Purple, pink, blue, red, black, ect. RICH CHICKS specializes in independent reviews to help you invest in the right product for your dollar. We have left many reviews all over this site.
