I'm highly pleased with the utility of the monster speaker selector. Connections are easy, logical, and the sound does not appear degraded at all. Make sure you always have the protection button engaged. Without it, my amp shut down.
The SS6 is a good way to run speakers to other rooms and outdoors

The Monster Cable SS-6 Speaker is a great product, at first I thought it would help me to connect my 3 additional speakers, but to my surprise it was able to connect 12 speakers! (6 sets of two/audio-area), this is something great for the price it costs.

This six pair speaker selector switch replaced a piece of junk I had unfortunately purchased from Radio Shack. The old switch had bleed-through to non-selected speakers, which sort of defeats the purpose.
The monster switch works as it should - sound only from selected speakers. It also looks nice, with an attractive black coated aluminum housing, and the switches seem to be of good quality. The connectors in the back are a little bit awkward if you don't plan to use the "gold plated pins" that monster would like to sell you, which I don't. Copper is a good enough conductor, thank you.
