Do not buy this phone. December 16, 2004 sreichte (St. Louis, MO) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I used this phone as an extra one in the bedroom. While it is nice that I can turn the ringer off and the caller ID screen is lighted, there is no battery life. I have had the phone for about a year or less and have replaced the battery twice now. You cannot even talk on the phone for 10 minutes without the battery going dead. Standby only lasts a few hours off the base. The price is cheap but having to replace the phone every 6 to 12 months makes the phone more expensive.
Great solution September 3, 2005 RescueFire (Michigan USA) 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is a great little phone. My house is full of electronic equipment. The 2.4 ghz phones really interfere with other equipment as well as other equipment interfere with those phones. With the older type 900 mhz phone there are no phone or equipment problems. Great solution to messed up signals all over this house.

This telephone is a piece of crap. You know how cordless phones initially have to be charged for at least twelve hours before you can use them? Well, I charged this phone for over 48 hours and it STILL won't let you talk on it. No dial tone, no use of the keypad; the receiver doesn't even turn on when you press the TALK button. Leave it on the shelf and save yourself some money. Anthony Rupert
Cheap price, cheap phone November 28, 2004 A. Archer (PA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Do not buy this phone. The buttons on mine went bad and now everytime I try to dial a number they stick. It's very frustrating having to start over again.
If it let me give zero stars, I would have... March 9, 2006 eilatan (Iowa) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This phone is a total piece of junk and a waste of money. As others have described, the battery holds MAYBE 5 minutes of a charge. Forget about it if you don't set it back on the charger when you hang up. The next time you dial, it'll be dead. I'm talking within minutes. The beeps are indeed annoying, as is the ring and the overall volume. I can't get a new cordless fast enough...
