Martians make good pens August 11, 2008 S. Luu (Upstate Virginia) It comes in a great carrying case so you dont lose anything. It is verryyy coool, switching out the cartridges is quick and feels solid. Over all a great purchase especially for the price. Just one problem: If you have the cap off and are taking notes, and are waiting for something write down...when you go to write it has already dried up! A few strokes on the paper brings it back to 100% ink flow but its very annoying.
One of the nicest inking pens you can buy April 5, 2008 M. Brandon 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Now THIS is Staedtler Mars Professional Quality! Not only does it have a classy style about it with the silver look and a case to come with...it really is thought out well. You have 4 ink point sizes (0.7/0.5/0.35/0.25) that are easy to change out just buy unloading and reloading (insert ammo reload sound FX's every time you do this if you want). And you can easily see what cartridge you have in with the number on the butt of the pen. Only "wish" i have is the pen shaft could be longer for that added "balanced" feel. Excellent drafting pens.
Best Technical Pen I have used February 5, 2007 Chrystal (San Diego, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These pens are great. So much easier to use and refill than the old metal tip ones. If your tip is bad or you run out of ink just pop a new one in. No cleaning no mess. For writing they provide a nice smooth line. We have even used them on old photo mylars and they were perfect for the job.
Very impressive... July 21, 2006 A. Krofta (Milwaukee, WI United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this just recently and it is just as high quality as the Staedtler Pigment Liners. They write just as smoothly and are easy to change. No mess at all and the refills write as smoothly and if a tip is needed to change then just change the refill. It comes in a handy plastic carrying case.
Better than Microns January 22, 2006 I love everything sometimes 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a great pen - the ink is blacker than micron ink and the tips are slightly more durable as well. Worth the extra intial investment in my opinion. It looks really good too if that matters to you.
