I first purchased a few of these towels in white as workout towels since the price was low, the comments were positive and the previous "microfiber absorbent" towels I had purchased for exercise were so rough they chaffed my skin. These white Pinzon towels were so nice, I purchased full color sets including bath sheets for all four bathrooms and could not be happier. I have since received quite a few comments about how nice the towels are. Towels are one of those items you hesitate to purchase online since you cannot feel them, but I am so happy I did and highly recommend them. As another reviewer stated, they are just as good as those you would find in a five star resort or luxury spa, if not better.

I am extremely pleased with these towels. I'd purchased similar towels at another store, but paid a LOT more for them--these towels are a great buy. The feel is pure luxury--soft and thick--just like towels you might find in a spa or resort hotel. The towels are generously sized; the bath towel seems bigger than others I own, they're more than big enough to comfortably wrap around--and if you really want to spoil yourself, get the hearty bath sheet. They wash well too, coming out of the dryer soft and plush. 5-stars

These towels are phenomenal. The bath sheet is huge!! In fact all the products in this line are larger than usual towels. Supposedly these are the same towels that Restoration Hardware sells. I checked, they look the same. The Pinzon towels are a little heavier and over 1/2 the cost.

I bought 4 of these (buy 3 get 1 free) when they were only $15 each - a couple of weeks ago. They just arrived and I am disappointed. Yes, they are heavy, but heavy as in a bath mat. The loops are too short and compact - making for a pretty hard nap. They aren't soft. They are smaller than all of the towels I currently own. I got the silver sage color, which on 2 lap tops and 3 PC monitors looked like it had a blue-ish hue to it - no they are just green, not blue at all and not a particularly nice green. The worst part, though, and the reason I'm sending them back is that the sewing is terrible. The finishing on the sides is way off. At $20, they should not be factory rejects.
Update after a washing: color fades, too. Wow, they really suck.

These towels are extremely heavy which you would think would make them very absorbent. That is unfortunately not the case. And because they are so heavy they take forever to dry. If I dry my hands on one in the morning, it is still damp at night. They take forever to dry in the dryer.
Also, because they are so heavy, they are hard to wrap around yourself after you bathe -- they slip off. I would forgive all of this if the towels were really absorbent, but they are only so-so in that category.
I would have returned them, but I love the color (plum) so I'll keep them, but I won't buy any more of them and don't recommend them.
