All that's required is a tray or two of ice cubes, some water, the beverage containers, and a push of a button. A can of pop or beer chills from room temperature to 43 degree F in just one minute; the extra-chill setting takes it right down to 34 degrees F. A bottle of wine (the machine lid removes for extra-long bottles) chills in just six minutes. Beverage containers rotate horizontally while being bathed by a jet of ice water, a process that is 40 times faster than chilling beverages in a freezer, and carbonated drinks won't explode or fizz upon opening. To warm drinks, such as a bottle of baby formula, simply add hot water instead of ice. The Cooper Cooler, invented by a chemical engineering student, includes other handy features such as preset time buttons on the touchpad, a no-spin option, add-ice indicator light, and automatic-off when done. I think I've had my Cooper Cooler for three years. During the winter, I forget I have it. In the summertime, it's a major blessing. The sticker on the front of mine is unsticking, but I'm trying not to notice. The important thing is that it does one little thing really, really well. I arrived home from a long, hot bike ride today to discover I only had one bottle of super-cold water in the fridge. I keep the Cooper Cooler on the counter in the summer months, so while I was chugging the first bottle of water, it was chilling the second. Frosty, brain-freeze perfection.
I find I use it almost daily and it keeps me from screaming at my family for drinking all the cold beverages without putting more in the fridge.

Bottomline, it works. BUT it needs ice! What is the point? I thought this thing would cool without ice, thus eliminating the need for a fridge in say a workshop. Nope. I don't own it, but a friend of mine does and I was impressed when he told me about it. THEN! I saw the ice. I am amazed that very few of us think this is a complete hose job. One star!

This machine works well. I am not sure if user malfunction did not lead to others complaints of bottles not fitting because I have never had a problem. The majority of bottles we chill are champagne and they have a very large base and the machine has always accommodated them. Also it chills them perfectly in a few minutes. We also use it to chill bottle of water before we go to the gym. I have no complaints about this product and would highly suggest it.
