| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review This smart-looking, classic cocktail shaker is just one of WMF's high-quality bar tools rendered in contemporary European style. The shaker comprises two pieces: a base made of 18/10 stainless steel with a satin finish and a measuring glass clearly calibrated in ounces and centiliters. The base stands 6-1/2 inches high and the measuring glass 5-3/4 inches. These pieces are heavy and durable as well as beautiful and go safely into the dishwasher. A strainer fitting the base is available separately. --Fred Brack

Nice, but... wow, expensive May 9, 2008 John Rosevear (Massachusetts USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
First, this is a nice-quality Boston shaker. But... any bar supply place will sell you a similar-quality 28 oz Boston shaker top (the metal cup) for $10, often less... and pint glasses (with no annoying printing on them) are $1.95 at any Crate and Barrel. The combination works just as well as this thing, and looks exactly the same (again, minus the printing on the glass), for a lot less money. I don't understand where the markup comes from.
great shaker March 3, 2008 L. Hardie-Vallone (Bethesda, MD United States) This shaker is crafted very well. I bartend, and use this in my home. the fitting of the glasses provides a good seal when mixing. Very effective set.
Perfect Shaker February 29, 2008 Holly Prochaska (Madison,Wi) Wonderful shaker! I dont think the glass is thin at all, Im not about to go dropping it on my counter top though. Can have ice cubes in it no problems while shaking. The basic glass makes it easy to read!
Nice shaker, albeit overpriced... October 19, 2007 Ryan (Davis, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A great Boston shaker, but I'm not sure what I had to spend $50 for a pint glass and a thin piece of stainless steel.
Great until it broke September 28, 2007 Jon Leopold (Chicago, IL) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This shaker works just great, with a proper seal between the two halves. Unfortunately, the glass broke very easily on mine. I didn't drop it on the floor or anything, but merely knocked it over on the granite counter. It shattered. This is unacceptable.
