Manufacturer's Warranty Swiss Army warrants its Victorinox Original Swiss Army Knives to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the entire life of the knife. About Victorinox In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.

Swiss army knife with flash drive December 29, 2007 James Callen (Phoenix, New York) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Flash drive works well and is recognized without loading any drivers in Windows XP. Knife, nailfile/screwdriver,scissors are a plus to have. Small and very portable. Only complaint would be I think the price is a little steep.
Victorinox SwissMemory May 4, 2008 James F. Queen (St Thomas, VI) A techie's toy - I love it. Just wish I could pack it in my carry-on luggage!
