Amazon.com Review Why waste time filling up a watering can to water your houseplants when you can easily bring water straight from the faucet? A few quick twists onto a nearby interior faucet and the watering can begin. The 50-foot-long SpringJet is a coiled 1/4-inch hose made of extremely flexible, lightweight material. Merely attach the SpringJet to a water source with the included faucet-to-sink adapter, trek to your preferred garden or planting area, and water away with the 20-inch watering wand. The wand includes an adjustable nozzle (from fine mist to stream) and brass swivel fittings that ensure long life. The coiled hose will not kink or tangle, and the wand is long enough to reach hanging baskets and window flower boxes with little effort. The SpringJet is perfect for home, garden, and greenhouse watering--especially those chores for which a single watering can isn't nearly enough. --Rivers Janssen

Convenient, but a couple quirks May 10, 2002 J. Gitzlaff (Chicago, IL United States) 92 out of 92 found this review helpful
This is a very nice product for its intended use (albeit one that is rather similar to many others marketed elsewhere). However, please bear in mind a couple of subtleties that may not be obvious from the item description:(1) The length of the hose is measured at its theoretically full extension. However, the hose never actually reaches this full extension because of elastic resistance (i.e. the very same "spring" effect which is the reason you presumably bought the hose) and torsion along the length of the hose as it is stretched. My experience is that you lose approximately 25% of the hose's length to these two effects. The only way to beat this is by making sure that the hose's rated length is that much LONGER than you need. (2) Make sure that you have the appropriate adapter permitting you to attach the hose to your faucet. Designer faucets, faucets with hose attachments, imported faucets, and outdoor faucets all may have trouble working with this hose out of the box.
Perfect for apartment-dwellers August 1, 2002 Christina J. Michaud (Boston, MA) 36 out of 36 found this review helpful
This is a fabulous product--let me count the ways:1) Attractive and nicely designed, nice color, convenient trigger-mechanism to turn on water, easily adjustable spray, and the cord never gets tangled. 2) Easily attaches to kitchen or bathroom sinks--it comes with an adapter with both male and female threads, so it will hook up to almost all sinks. But, the adapter is a little difficult to unscrew, so I bought (for about $1.50 from Home Depot) a different adaptor to leave on my sink all the time, complete with an aerator, so that I can just screw on the hose when I want to use it. I leave the whole hose in the cabinet under my bathroom sink so that it's handy when I want to use it. 3) Perfect for apartment-dwellers: I live in a fifth-floor brownstone walkup, but I have a lot of plants inside and a balcony with lots of plants outside. The hose easily stretches the 30 feet from my bathroom sink to the balcony, and I can water my tomato plants and pea plants without carrying pitcher after pitcher of water outside. Furthermore, it's great for washing windows from the outside, cleaning off the balcony after a storm, and filling up tubs for apple-ducking or other activities.
Great for indoors! May 22, 2002 Tom Milligan (New York) 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
I was brousing through Amazon.com a few weeks ago and noticed the SpringHose/SpringJet. I had seen them in stores, and really liked the idea and convenience of this product. Upon further review and price comparison on Quality, amazon.com has the most competitive price available for this product. Considering it is a North American made product, I love that I can rely on its lifetime warranty. I have enjoyed the many conveniences this product has brought, not only to my garden But for indoor watering plants as well. Many thanks, I Give full marks for the SpringHose!!!!!!! W.M.
Cuts down watering time dramatically! June 30, 2003 K. Perry (Forest Hill, MD) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I love this tool for easy plant watering. It's lightweight and the 50' length can reach all of my potted plants on the main floor of my house, the front porch, and back deck without changing faucets. No more filling pitchers over and over and walking back and forth dripping on the floor. As is typical, it leaks slightly at the faucet attachment, but that drains into the sink so there is no mess. Also, the plastic coupler is sometimes difficult to unscrew from the faucet when finished.
Perfect for any place without a real faucet August 7, 2005 Zachary O. Toups (Cypress, TX) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
My only trouble with this item is that I had to go track down an adapter to make it fit my sink. Other than that, it's been perfect: we can water all of our patio and indoor plants with very little trouble. It works MUCH better than hauling 8-10 pails of water outside every few days! Surprisingly enough, the water pressure is pretty high, too.
