Amazon.com Product Description Specifically designed for left-handed arborists, the Felco left-hand pruner features forged light metal handles, a cushion stop, a sap groove for continual non-stick operation, a wire cutting notch, and a fine blade adjustment. The light metal handles are forged for durability and pivot on tough, replaceable pins rather standard rivets. Additionally, a cushioned stop keeps the blades from opening unexpectedly or overly wide. Measuring 8-by-1/4-inches, the pruner weighs 8.7-ounces and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Left-Hand Specific Pruners May 29, 2007 E. Revell (Seattle, WA USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Felco pruners are often touted as the best, so I won't spend much time commenting on the quality of the pruners in general. In deciding on a pair I discovered they offered left-handed specific ones. I debated between those and the right-handed pair for small hands because my hands are small. I opted for the left-handed pair as I know the difference it makes to have left-hand specific scissors. I really notice the difference, especially cutting branches that are big enough to be verging on being worth pulling out the loppers. My ideal pair would be left-handed for small hands, but until they have those, these are fantastic. I highly recommend them -- they're worth it.
Best hand pruners, hands down. May 3, 2008 F. L. Owens (Tidewater, VA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These pruners will last for as long as you can stand to take care of them. They are comfortable, durable, and trustworthy to cut through anything you can get the blade around (anything organic, that is). Complete disassembly for cleaning is easy and intuitive. I've used a pair at work for years and they keep going and going, so now that I'm on to a new job, I had to buy a pair of my own! They are completely worth the money, especially if they are going to get some heavy use.
Good secetaurs June 16, 2008 D. J. Lagoe This is an excellent tool: It cuts any branch well, it's comfortable in my hand, and I can get parts if I ever need them.
