worthless May 14, 2006 M. Lovern 22 out of 29 found this review helpful
this sprayer is a good idea but thats about it. after filling it up and using about 1/3 of the fluid I set it to the side to work on other things. I come back about 5 minutes later and there is a large puddle where the tip is resting. I release the pressure on the tank by unscrewing the cap thinking that will stop the flow. Not so. It continued to spill out all night long till all but about an 1/8 of the tank was left. I'll be taking this one back for refund not exchange.
Nice not having to pump but a lot of waste July 30, 2006 family-style movie lover (Washington State) 20 out of 26 found this review helpful
Yeah... I have to agree with the other editorials. It's great not having to pump all of the time but, having a pint of solution left at the bottom is a real pain... and an expensive waste as well. The sprayer holds a charge well and personally, I had no problems with leaks or anything breaking. However, there is no way to empty the sprayer. I tried everything to get the fluid in one spot and getting the siphon to stay there but, to no avail. It's a great idea with a poor design.
Very Disappointed!!! June 4, 2006 Thelonesomepicker (Boston, Ma. USA) 14 out of 17 found this review helpful
The Black & Decker cordless garden sprayer is a great idea that is poorly made. I took it home and began spraying apple trees with it. The problem was the spraying wand kept popping off the handle because of the pressure. The foolish wand attachs to the spray handle with a pressure fitting and NOT a threaded fitting as the directions imply. So everytime I tried to spray with it the wand came flying off. It is going back today!
Disappointed! June 20, 2006 R. Hopkins (Palm Coast, Florida) 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
I see that Amazon has already dropped the price of this Chinese-made sprayer by $10. And for good reason. 1. The spray pattern is very uneven. 2. Sometimes it will not prime itself. 3. The wand drips continually; this is not good if you are spraying Roundup. 4. About a pint of solution is left in the container, unavailable to the suction tube. This one is going back.
Black & Decker Rechargeable cordless garden sprayer August 15, 2006 Sandra J. Jennings (Cleveland, OH) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This sprayer is wonderful. I had one that used batteries but it was discontinued so I could not buy replacement parts. It is easy to fill and works just as needed for any outside spraying need. I am considering buying a second one so I will have one for garden use and one for weed killing solutions. The only draw back I found is that is a little heavy but that out ways the performance which is superb. I highly recommend this sprayer to all.
