The Mini Bat House is the same great design as our Bat House Kit, but fully assembled. This smaller version of the Batchelor Pad will hold up to 12 bats and is an excellent choice for a suburbanite or apartment dweller. Included are easy to follow hanging instructions and a brochure on bats. Hand Constructed Hand constructed of eastern white pine, (which is environmentally preferred) and is designed with a unique roughened surface which bats can easily cling to. Solid construction provides warmth, insulation and durability. Opens at the bottom so it needs no cleaning and birds will not nest in it. Bats Eat Mosquitos The average brown bat can eat up to 600 mosquitos an hour, so hanging a bat house can be effective pest control; its also good for the environment. Bats play an important role in our ecosystem and theyre endangered. This is an easy way to do your part while keeping annoying flying insects in check.
