Amazon.com Product Review The perfect rack for long-handle shovels, pitchforks, leaf blowers, brooms, and more, this tool hanger mounts to the wall to support up to 4 tools for easy access. The rack is also great for long-handle tools with opposing grips that won't fit in slots commonly found in corner tool stands. The rack attaches to the wall with Racor's innovative WallDock wall plate, which is part of a modular system of interchangeable storage options. Each WallDock accepts any of numerous storage hooks and shelves available in Racor's Interchange system, making the setup incredibly versatile for constantly changing storage needs. Available on Amazon.com, Racor's modular Interchange storage system is designed for easy installation, flexibility, and seasonal access to a wide variety of items throughout the home. InterChange offers unlimited, modular possibilities for keeping tools, recreation gear and anything else right where you need it, when you need it. And as more stuff is added, it's a simple matter to reorganize and add racks by mounting them on existing or newly-installed WallDocks. --Brian D. Olson

So-so for hanging tools June 4, 2007 D. Alger (Big Bend, WI) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a decent product -- certainly not spectacular. It's a great concept but the quality of the bracket is average at best. It feels a little flimsy, I don't intend to rearrange my hangers frequently so the interchange functionality is of limited attraction to me. I purchased a couple different types of organizational hangers and I found that the Rubbermaid Fasttrack stuff is the most solid and useful. The downside is that they are a wee bit expensive -- thus, I've been putting them up with out the fast track (i.e. making sure to hit a stud). The Racor Interchange organizers are a less solid and a bit less expensive. I also bought some very inexpensive ClosetMaid hooks which were very solid but not as useful or specialized (e.g. hang one tool on one hook instead of several on one hook). Bottom line: If it fits your budget, go with the Rubbermaid fasttrack hangers. If not and you've got a lot of wall space, find some less expensive, less specialized hooks. If neither of those situations applies, these are an acceptable alternative.
Too wobbly!!! November 29, 2007 A. Noonan (Campbell, CA United States) The main selling point of this item is that it's interchangeable with other Racor hanging systems. Unfortunately, the quality of the attachment to the wall leaves such a large gap between the hanger and the wall that it wobbles badly when touched. It's actually not very safe if you have a couple of things hanging, and then want to hang another item. The jostling could cause the other items to fall. I had to place a wooden wedge between the metal rack and the wall to stiffen the mount. In all, I have my tools hung up and it's 'reasonably' safe, but this would not have worked 'out of the box'.
Racor/Prostor Products December 12, 2007 Pete Otterstrom (CT, USA) These products, designed to organize storage & get things up off the floor, are absolutely excellent in quality & ability. On drywall they really should be installed on cleats to prevent pullout with heavier items. This is NOT a product fault but rather insurance against the frailty of drywall. Bicycle storage should not exceed the weight limitations. You can safely invest in these products.
