I love the silicone steamer. Because of the flexible material, it is easy to fit into many size pots. The handles are nice for grabbing to remove once finished steaming. Also...for a quick weeknight meal, this can be used in the microwave, unlike the stainless one I have.

This steamer rocks. It fits in my big pot if i want to steam something long. It fits in my smaller pots if I want to use them instead. The handles make it a breeze to work with, and also to let me hang it from my pot rack. It looks very nice and is EASY to clean. Unlike the only bad review here, I didn't have any strange tastes to my vegetables. I have to wonder if that person was maybe tasting fresh veggies for the first time?

I use this almost every day. It's so nice to be able to steam my veggies in the microwave. I just fill a bowl with a little water, put the steamer on top, fill with veggies, shake some molly mc butter on top and 5 minutes in the microwave and it's done!
No more excuses for not eating your veggies!

We've tried metal steamers with the many fold up leaves that are such a nusiance to wash. This design is a great little invention. We cut ours down (leaving the handles intact) for our smaller pot size. We love it. EZ clean up Don't let it boil dry. Stan
