Product Description 4 PK Mice Cubes - Safe, Clean, Silent, Reusable - IT WORKS!! The Mice Cube is a molded plastic mousetrap with a door that is free-swinging in an inward direction only. Small holes in the door allow the odor of the bait to escape to attract the mouse. The mouse enters by pushing the light-weight door inward, which then closes by gravity, preventing escape. IT WORKS !! You never have to touch the mouse !! Mice Cubes aren't literally cubes, but rather dark black but somewhat translucent rectangles the size of a butter dish (2"x2"x 5.75"). Directions For Use: 1. To bait trap, spread peanut butter on a cracker and place it at the far end of the trap opposite the door. HINT: To help attract mouse to trap, spread a very thin layer of peanut butter on the swinging door - wipe of any excess so peanut scent remains, and the door swings freely. 2. Place trap along wall or in area where mouse droppings are prevalent. Warning: Check trap once or twice a day, as mouse will expire if left in Mice Cube. 3. To release the mouse, take the Mice Cube outside and turn the trap upside down. The door will open and the mouse can exit. 4. If mouse has expired in trap, you may dispose of it in a refuse container without ever touching the mouse!

Effective, safe for homes with children, and humane! November 7, 2007 C. Cross (Panama City, FL, USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
We live out in the country, and the mice are starting to come inside now to stay warm as the weather gets cooler outside. We were given some of these traps to use, and are so grateful to have them! In just the three days since we put these out, we have caught seven different mice, the last five of which were caught without even putting any bait in the traps! We just put the traps where we have seen the mice and they got caught while exploring. We have a small child, so knew that we didn't want to put out poison, glue traps, or the spring-loaded traps, so these have provided us a very effective means for trapping mice while not putting our daughter in jeopardy. The only concern about these is that it is hard to clean them out well after the mice leave droppings in them, but we are just rinsing them out well with the garden hose before bringing them back into the house, and then wiping down the outside surfaces with disinfectant wipes. Our daughter is constantly supervised, so that should do the trick for us, to prevent her from getting access to any germs the mice leave behind. I would definitely recommend these traps to anybody with a mouse problem, especially to those with small children or pets who could be harmed by some of the more traditional methods of handling the problem. And the fact that these traps are no-kill is, of course, a good thing too; just be sure to take the mice far enough away from the house before releasing them! In fact, we have had such luck with these traps that we will be getting more as soon as we can! These things are great!
Wow, these traps really work!!! December 27, 2007 L. Miller (Hillsboro, OH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We live in the country, so mice are a never ending battle in our home. I have purchase just about every humane mouse trap on the market, with limited success. Some traps the mice would not enter at all and others, the mice would simply escape after eating the snack inside. I was a bit reluctant to try these mouse cubes as they seem so simple...am I ever thankful that I did try these. The Mice Cube is by far the best humane mouse trap that I have found. They are simple to use, and amazingly effective. Another nice feature of these traps is their small size, they easily fit in a drawer or other tight space where mice like to visit. Releasing the mouse or mice from the trap is incredibly simple, you just turn the trap over and the door opens. As with any live catch trap, the trap should be checked often as captured mice need to be released as quickly as possible. To clean the traps when needed, I purchased a mop bucket from the dollar store and soak the traps in a mild bleach solution, I then rinse them well with water and after allowing them to dry, they are as good as new. I would highly recommed these traps to anyone looking for a simple, humane solution to dealing with mice in your home.
Only works For Dumb Mice January 2, 2008 C A Release (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought one of these traps for the same reason that many others do - I didn't want to kill the mice. Catch and release was what I had in mind. I caught 4 mice with no problem at all - one after another, on four consecutive nights. Having found and sealed the hole from which I figured they were entering, I figured that my problem was over. But then I saw another. I laid this little gizmo out in a prime place, with peanut butter (as the directions suggest) and... Nothing. Night after night - nothing. Well, tonight I'm home, and while working at my desk I hear rattling from where the trap is located. I spring from my chair and discover a HUGE mouse inside. Secure in the knowledge that the little guy CAN'T get out, unless the trap is turned upside down (as per the directions) I put on my shoes to to go outside and release him far from my dwelling. As I am doing this I hear a little more rattling. As I watch the mouse emerges from the trap and runs behind my refrigerator. I would bet that it isn't the first time he has been in and out. He seemed to know exactly what he was doing. Next I will use the old-fashioned type of mouse trap with the slamming bar. Lets see if he can outsmart THAT one.
Don't buy this trap November 15, 2007 M. Smith (Walker, LA) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this trap in an attempt to avoid killing the mice in our home. After several attempts with this trap, set up per instructions, I was dissapointed every time. Eventuallly I wasforced to go to supermarket and purchase a killing trap, which of course worked but was not what I wanted. Now I am looking for another mouse friendly trap which hopefully will actually do what it claims to do.
1 hour to trap him, worked like a charm January 9, 2008 W. Poole (Long Island, NY USA) We got an unwanted visitor in the kitchen. I didn't want to kill him with the brutal stuff like glue traps. That is the most horrendous thing I can imagine. So I got 5 of these Mice Cubes. I set a them with peanut butter and a cracker, put the scent of PB on the doors, placed them around the kitchen at 7pm. We went out for dinner, back by 8pm, open the kitchen drawer where he had been hanging out and there he is, in the Mice Cube. A tiny little mouse. Amazing. Took him down to the local soccer field where he can live in the forest blocks away from the nearest human dwelling and set him free in the bushes. Mice Cubes are the Oskar Schindlers of rodent prevention. They will save thousands of lives, I can't recommend them enough. Relocate the critters and don't use killing traps... there is enough suffering in this world. Just don't forget to check the traps, you WILL catch your mouse and so must remember to get him out before he dies in there.
