Watering head is big with many fine holes which gives a broad spray pattern (about 2 inches) with good flow.
Large water port means filling is quick.

I got this watering can for two reasons -- one, the extra capacity and, two, the longer-reach nozzle (I needed it for indoor plants, which are on an upper shelf in a kitchen garden window). While it satisfied my first requirement, the longer nozzle is deceptive -- it's very hard to water plants without a curve or bend in it! Water ends up everywhere. In addition, the design of the watering can makes water come out the nozzle the minute you pick it up -- to avoid that, you have to fill it will less water, which defeats purpose #1. I gave up.
