The first speed is ideal for use with hole saws and self feed bits when drilling large holes in wood. The second speed is designed for use with auger bits or screwdriving and the third speed is meant for hammer drilling into concrete. This 36v is what it is...POWER without the cord. You get the job done 4 times as fast as those ordinary 14.4v saving time, and saving money. Reconditioned to perfection with no faults so far and it looks brand new.Get one now, the original cost of this brand new is $499.00
