Before I tasted this bar, my idea of milk chocolate was a Hershey bar, a handful of M&M's, an Almond Joy, or some such candy. Well, was I in for an unexpected treat when I unwrapped the gold foil of this remarkable bar. Blanxart milk chocolate is so rich and deeply flavorful -- head and shoulders above what I have tasted before. Partisan as I am in favor of dark chocolate, at first I was skeptical about the virtues of Blanxart milk chocolate and needed to be educated. I knew the bar is made in a renowned Catalan chocolate kitchen, so it had to be top quality, but I was won over when I bit into this smooth pungent milk chocolate. Then, when the candy makers add a generous handful of whole crunchy hazelnuts (avellanas) there is no discussion: this milk chocolate bar is extraordinary.
