The fully-hardened stainless steel saw blade is 17-1/2-inches long, and has a triple grind design to cut on the pull and push strokes. The blade also has a bark stripper to minimize tree damage before the cut, and a hook to pull down branches after the cut. The saw blade is also replaceable. The sturdy fiberglass pole can extend out to 15-feet, and has a patented Quick-Release pole lock to safely stay in place while cutting. With a low-profile design and no ropes to get tangled in the branches, this is a professional grade tool for pruning tree branches of all sizes.

The saw is very well made and incredibly lightweight. Once I got the hang of it, it only took about five minutes of sawing to get through a 2" branch.
To get the most out of the saw, you have to find a position that works well for you, and keep the blade in the same position for the duration of the sawing. It's very easy for the blade to slip out of the groove you just cut if you aren't careful, and then you have to fanagle it back into place. This happens more the longer you extend the pole, I've found.
For what it is, it's a fantastic tool. It won't replace a guy with a bucket truck and an array of chainsaws, but if you've got an unruly tree that needs to be trimmed back a little bit, this might be what you're looking for.

Poorly made import from China - when will manufacturers ever learn? This pruner has PLATED blades and the plating is flaking off before I have even tried to use this thing. It's going straight back to Amazon. Let the Chinese buy this junk - I want quality.
