Thistle seed is considered the premier seed for attracting many varieties of finches and small songbirds. The high oil content constitutes a highly nutritious and valuable food. Thistle seed is not a weed seed and not related to the weed "thistle" at all. Depending upon the birds common to your area, Kaytee Thistle Seed will attract goldfinches, house finches, redpolls, pine siskins, indigo buntings, song sparrows, and white-throated sparrows. Feeding Instructions: Fill a small to medium tube feeder. Fill as needed.
