Product Description 18 inch wood handle / Brass bristles / Scraper / Hardwood handles / No rust brass bristles / Includes a scraper / Aids in removing grate residue
Amazon.com Review Cleaning your grill is essential because anything left on the grate will cause uneven heat when you cook. But when you've finished grilling some savory steaks, burgers, chickens, and veggies, the last thing you want to do is clean up the mess. With Weber's grill brush/scraper, it's really not so bad. This 18-inch brush/scraper has hardwood handles and brass bristles, so you won't be left with rusty residue or stubborn leftover grime. When you're finished, hang the tool by its leather strap until your next outdoor feast. --Rhonda Langdon

Good grill brush, but not the best price. April 24, 2002 dcinDC (Washington, DC United States) 40 out of 47 found this review helpful
I'm not sure Amazon will print this review, but here goes...The brush itself is very good. Sturdy and well designed. The handle is long enough to let you scrub the grill while it's still warm and strong enough to let you use some elbow-grease. The bristles are densely packed for better scrubbing. If they were longer you could get a bit more of the grate at one time, but I don't think they'd scrub as well (since it's the tips of the bristles that do the real scrubbing and not the sides). The curved scraper does a good job getting each individual rail of the grate clean too. I have only two complaints. First, the wood can get pretty dirty after a while and is hard to clean. Second, this isn't the best price I've seen for this brush. I've seen it at almost half price at the local [store]. ... Anyhow, if you're buying a grill (like I did from Amazon) then definitely get yourself a good brush like this to keep it clean. If you're still using steel wool to clean the grill, you'll like this much better. Don't use it to clean the dog...long story. Hope this helps and good luck with your purchase!
Best Brush for Grillular Hygene June 16, 2000 Al the Pal (The Fruited Plain, United States) 32 out of 35 found this review helpful
I've had several of these over the years and they work great. I never wear one out - I think they get carted off by the neighbors or marauding coyotes. The flexible brass bristles won't scrape the enamel off your grill bars and are great for softer accumulations. The scraper blade has a half circle "nip" out of it that fits the contour of the grill bars if you have a really ugly mess to remove (those slathered up ribs you laid on there before the vollyball game). The longer handle on this model lets you keep the hair on your fingers if the fire is still going. The leather loop allows you to hang it on the grill or the arm of your lawn chair so it stays within reach. You may have to fend off the local cats and dogs if you hang it too close to the ground. Maybe they need to come out with a quick draw holster for it to solve that one! On second thought, a Prazi "Big Lug" on your tool belt might work. Yeah, Barbeque Sauce and seasoning in the pockets of the tool belt. This could turn into a Tool Crib thing!
Very good grill brush May 16, 2000 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I have only minimal complaints after using this. If the brush had a firmer gripping surface, it might make for a little easier brushing. For that fact alone, I dropped it a full star. Don't get me wrong; this is a GREAT BRUSH! If you are looking for something good to scrape your grill with, this won't hurt. However, I personally would make a few improvements, only to the gripping area.
Not the right product for the job June 27, 2005 Earl E. A. Dopter (Louisiana) 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
I have owned several grill brushes with brass bristles and they have all done the same thing. Unfortunately, this one is no different. After a while the bristles mashed down and became next to useless. The scraper is not the right size for most grills, mine included, so it's not a very effective tool unless you are lucky enough to have the exact right gauge of rod on your grill. If you are shopping around for a grill brush, I highly recommend a different product called the Grill Wizard. I found out about this from America's Test Kitchen (great show) and they rated it the top, so I bought one. Couldn't be happier.
The ultimate grill brush (as far as grill brushes go) August 23, 2005 C. Holmes (Connecticut) 12 out of 26 found this review helpful
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this brush FANTABULOUS. It works better on the grill than, say, a laundry basket, or a polish sausage casing. Now, if you were to compare this brush to other devices that are actually intended (or capable) of cleaning a grill surface, it becomes a tighter race. Unfortunately, since I've never used any other grill brushes, I can't tell you how tight, nor give you any type of comparison whatsoever. I have asked the grill for it's personal opinion of the brush to help me clear matters up, but in the interest of staying impartial (grills rarely claim allegiance to any political or social parties) it has stayed silent. Candidly, I can tell you that the grill appears to enjoy this brush. You can really see the emotion when I approach the grill brandishing this large, happy brush. They certainly run in the same circles, and I would surmise they have mutual acquaintances. I would think this would at least ease the transition. Anyway, barring any employment issues, I think the grill and brush are a good fit. I would definately recommend this brush. He smokes, but so does the grill, and only outside.
