Product came on time and was in good condition. It was missing a couple nuts and was a little difficult to put the screws in straight, but other than that, the assembly was pretty simple, and the bench is adorable.

Upon assembly the screw holes wouldn't easily accept the little finishing plugs resulting in those areas developing cracks with very little pressure. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I recently gave two of these as gifts. I had no problem with the assembly - both went together easily. The recipient was pleased that the benches could be painted or stained to match their trim color. American-made for this price? You can not beat this value.
Not well made February 23, 2008

This bench requires assembly, but it was not machined properly so the pre-drilled holes on it did not line up. Furthermore, the top piece was not long enough so I had to shim it with some scrap wood.
I do not recommend purchasing this bench.
