| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The DX610 electronic pest repeller is scientifically designed and engineered to drive out mice, rodents, rats, field mouse, water bugs, roaches, spiders, and most unwanted pests and insects. It is currently used worldwide for rat and mouse control, as well as roach control in both commercial and home applications. The DX610 electronic pest control repeller is an effective, and welcomed alternative to toxic chemicals, or messy, and dangerous traps. The patented DX610 utilizes "advanced state of the art technology" and works by transmitting a powerful range of ultrasonic sound waves in the 45,000 Hz range. The auto-changing, high intensity frequencies and pulse sequences were designed to output at known auditory sensitivity ranges of pests, like rats, and mice.. Lab and customer field testing have shown, for example, that rodents, like mice or rats, will leave the area for a less aggravating and stressful environment. These sound wave frequencies are inaudible to humans and non-rodent pets like your family cat, dog, or bird. The DX610 is very effective up to approximately 2000 square feet (on a single level). We recommend that you place one unit on each floor (incuding your attic, basement, attached garage) of your home or office for the best and fastest results. The key to extrodinary results is to cover your entire home so that rodents and insects have no place to hide. Please note that no device on the market will stop anything from entering if you don't seal up the opening, or if you leave food out for them, but the DX1610 Pest Repeller will drive them OUT if you have a problem. -- Buyers include: * Condo Associations and Homeowner Groups * US Millitary, Navy, Army, Marines * Restaurants and Bars * Food Processing Companies * Commercial Storage Warehouses * Schools * Business Owners * Home Owners * Hotels , Motels, and Retreats * Rental Property Owners and Management Companies

Not a Bad Pest Repeller November 10, 2007 Java Developer (Western United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've tried this out because of a mouse problem. I've tried the Black & Decker one, but the mice laugh at it and dance about. This one, I don't see them. It makes a quiet tick-tick sound, like some bomb out of a James Bond movie, but that's a consolation to the worse mouse problem.
Total crap... September 24, 2007 Andrea M. Nettles (New Orleans, LA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't waste your money. I got rid of the little pests by first finding the hole where they were coming in and cramming it with steel wool. I haven't seen them since. But it had NOTHING to do with this device. I had it plugged in for about a month and they were still coming inside just as often. It didn't appear to even phase them.
Works for Ants, NOT mice September 20, 2007 X. Li (Berkeley, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We use to have one of these and never had an ant problem. However, we did have mice for awhile (they found an opening through the fireplace) so this does NOT work for mice like it says. Our roommate who owned this Pest-Repel moved out and took it with him. We started getting ants throughout the apartment about 2 months afterwards. I ordered one for myself and now the ants are gone. Hurray!
not enough time.. July 23, 2007 Linda Boso 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I had a "not so bad problem" that exploded into a "really bad problem" with mice..unfortunatley, I could not wait the 2 to 6 weeks for the pest repeller to work. I had to get rid of the problem first...so..now I am rid of the mice, I need more time to tell if the pest repeller works well or not.I do not feel that I can rate the product fairly at this time. I certainly do hope they work..check back in a couple or three weeks.
works for large roaches June 25, 2007 smp21 (Honolulu) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought one of these pest repellers a year ago for my kitchen to get rid of the large cockroaches and it worked! I've only maybe once or twice seen another cockroach. At the time I didn't have a mouse problem but a couple of months ago I saw a tiny mouse in my studio apartment so I quickly bought another repeller (one for the kitchen, one for the bedroom). It hasn't worked at all. After the first mouse died (in my closet) there's now a new mouse running about!
