Amazon.com Review This innovative oscillating sprinkler design can water medium-to-large yards, is fully adjustable, and comes with a built-in timer and flow control mechanisms. While many oscillating sprinklers allow you to adjust the range of the spray, this one also provides adjustments for controlling the width and the water flow. At the highest water pressure (56 psi), the width can be adjusted from 13 to 56 feet and the range from 23 to 69 feet. At low water pressure (28 psi), the width can be set from 11-1/2 to 47-1/2 feet and the range from 19-1/2 to 56.7 feet. The timer allows you to select watering times from 15 to 120 minutes, or it can be bypassed for constant flow. Gardena includes its Quick Connector hose adapter for easy time-saving hose changes and a special needle for keeping spray nozzles clean. The Aquazoom provides all the versatility and design features you could ask for in an oscillating sprinkler.

very fragile April 28, 2006 Privacy Advocate (Arlington, VA USA) 25 out of 30 found this review helpful
Although the sprinkler does a very good job -- it is especially easy to adjust the range and swath without getting soaked, it is very fragile. I sense many reviews here are from new owners. In the year we owned ours it has been broken by being tripped over (then repaired), same again (repaired), and again by children (unrepairable). The timer mechanism comes apart rather easily and the jets are easily damaged. The plastic is the hard, brittle sort that I fear could easily crack. If you take exceedingly good care of the device, it will I think serve you well, but I really think at this price it should withstand some abuse, at least as well as similar products.
Fragile? Hmmm... March 24, 2007 J. R. Mason (Houston, TX United States) 11 out of 14 found this review helpful
I've had this sprinkler for 4 years and have never had a single problem with it being fragile--it works like a champ, year after year. I suppose if you use it like a hammer or drop it from 10' onto concrete it would break--but I've never tried that. I love this sprinkler--I've spent so much money on them over the years that I despaired of ever finding a truly good one--the range and sdjustability is better than ANY other sprinkler I've ever used. Built-in timer is SO useful--never wastes water and is very accurate.
Why can't the manufacturers get all their i's dotted and t's crossed? June 29, 2006 Philip A. Askey 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
As landscape nursery and plantspeople, we use this sprinkler abundantly in many arenas. The last few we've purchased have been defective, and we don't know how we can keep encouraging our clients to purchase them with the careless glitches that have gone into the manufacturing of them. They are some of the more pricey sprinklers on the market, so one would expect them to be totally functional.
Not reliable July 8, 2006 Goofy girl 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I purchased this sprinkler because I have another oscillating sprinkler that has worked perfectly for the past 3 years. It was a Melnor without all the fancy timers and things but similar design. I wanted something a little longer to cover a wider space. I went to use it for the first time last night and it was oscilatting for a few swipes and then got stuck in one position. I went over and touched it and it started up again. I turned back around and it was stuck in that same position again. It takes me hours to water already because of having to move them due to our yard size. So I am definately not going to pull up a chair and nudge it along all day and night. :) I was really disappointed because it is a sharp looking sprinkler and cool design but useless if it won't work out of the box. I saw that another reviewer had the same problem but with all the positive reviews I figured it must be just the one they got. Well I experienced the same thing and it is 4 years later than that review.

I share comments similar to others. Excellent beginning, BUT soon it got stuck in one position and will not move. Long term reliability not yet there...manufacturing problems I'm sure. I read of another reviewer having unit repaired. I'd like to know where and how much. For $50+ you'd expect more. Can't find the manufacturer so I can't even complain...except here. HELP!
