Amazon.com Review Framed in a matte, pearl-colored plastic, this wall clock measures 14 inches in diameter and looks most at home hanging in an office or business setting. However, this clock's claim to fame is precision time-keeping and the fact that it never needs to be set. The clock has a built-in antenna system that receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn is regulated by the atomic clock. Once you install the battery and choose one of four U.S. time zones, the clock automatically sets to the accurate time in hours, minutes, and seconds, and continues to adjust itself six times daily. This low-maintenance clock even automatically adjusts for daylight savings time, so you never need to remember to spring ahead or fall back. This radio-controlled clock is covered by a 1-year warranty and runs on one AA battery (not included). --Cristina Vaamonde

Works in New Hampshire October 9, 2006 Glenn R. Howes (Nashua, NH) 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
I've bought two of these atomic clocks. The first, a 12" wood framed model, soon stopped keeping accurate time and started acting unpredictably. The second, this model, has been on my wall for a week and is keeping good time after an easy setup: insert battery, push EST button. I am nicking it a star because it makes a noticeable tick sound in a quiet room, making it inappropriate for a bedroom. [Update: The clock has functioned well for over a year, with one battery change.]
It didn't last a month. December 14, 2006 A. Oliveri (Chevy Chase, MD United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I purchased this as a present. Less than a month later, I went to wrap it, and found that most of the face of the clock had come unglued from its backing. There seems to be a quality control problem at the LaCrosse factory. I contacted the LaCrosse customer service satff about the problem and they wanted me to pay for shipping for warranty repair even though it was new. Fortunately I bought it through Amazon and they were responsive enough to pay for its return. Don't think I'll ask for a replacement.
Good, but not as good as i thought November 1, 2005 Chi K. Lam (Santa Cruz, CA) 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
I have this clock. It doesn't receive signal as well as the digital ones (no hands), and it's a pain to set it manually because it only advance by minutes. But once it gets in sync, it works like a charm. If you don't care about the elegance of an analog clock, buy a digital one. If you do, this is a good deal. Fry's has it for at least $20 for a smaller size.
Good Looking Clock January 3, 2007 R. Johnson (Los Angeles) 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
This clock looks great, but didn't "sync" with the radio signal after waiting overnight. I had to set it manually. There were no clear directions on how to set it manually... it can be done, but there should be an easier way to do it. Honestly, I have no way of knowing if it ever got the radio signal. Other atomic clocks in my house work with the signal, we'll see what happens when daylight savings time comes around again. Otherwise, it keeps great time and looks good. Update 5/2008 This clock eventually did sync with the radio signal. It has reverted to daylight savings time twice when it shouldn't have for NO reason, but within a day or two did go back to the correct time. Overall, still happy, but the little problems are annoying.
Very disappointed! January 9, 2007 DMC (Westborough, MA United States) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
CHEAP! Paper backing warped in the humid weather. Clock did not set correctly. I sent it back for a refund.
