Dutch Scuffle Hoe May 12, 2007 Richard Sebring (Addison, Illinois United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
A good way to take care of weeds in gardens too large for hand pulling. Quickly and easily cuts them off at the soil line. You can clean out large areas of weeds in a short time and frequent use will stop weeds from returning.
Getting them together is deceptive May 6, 2008 Kimberly M. Helsel (Texas) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The add says it is better to get the big hula ho and the little together. This was deceptive. They are shipped from two different businesses and so you get busted shipping and handling twice. There was nothing better about it. RIPPED OFF is the only thing I can say to this. The product is class act, but the deception has me steaming.
Easy to Use August 8, 2007 G. L. Wilkie (Hudson, FL USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Hula-Ho Weeder has been around a long time. This purchase is a replacement for an earlier model that lasted for several years. It works great around tender plants that cannot be weeded with a line trimmer. I usually have to sharpen the blade to get the best use out of it.
It's a great tool May 19, 2008 Paulette Ballou (Connecticut) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I just started using one of these hoes, and what a pleasure! The motion is similar to using a vacuum cleaner, back and forth, back and forth, level with but just under the surface of the soil. I found it worked best on small weeds just after a rain. Mine hasn't been sharpened, however - I'll have to see to that because at present it does not very well cut off tough big weeds and I end up mostly pulling them by hand. Generally weeding is easier after a rain. I got a lot done in a far shorter time than I would have doing it by hand - and actually finished :-)

I don't know how I lasted all these years without it. I love it!!!
