Leak Proof! October 24, 2006 Lisa Altus (La Crosse, WI) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was looking at this mug online last night and got a little obsessed, but I hate buying things online and not knowing how they work. So I went to Gloria Jeans, and they had it! The ladies were so nice--they let me open it up and we even put water in it. It truly is leak proof! I am a student, so to be able to put my drink in my backpack is very convienent. It also comes with a carabiner that attaches to the handle so you can attach it to your purse or back pack and not have to hold it. Another thing: The lid is VERY easy to wash. For people on the go, this mug is definately worth the price! Oh, and it's cheaper on amazon than at Gloria Jeans = )
Awesome mug! (but could be easier to open) November 21, 2007 S. Young (Tulsa, OK) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I really like this mug. I'm a student and wanted a mug I could throw in by backpack and not worry about it leaking, and this is it! It will keep my coffee warm for several hours. The only thing I don't really like is that the lid can be difficult to remove if the inside is cools while the lid is tight. It only takes a little pressure to seal the lid- any more and it can get stuck (I made this mistake when I first got it- no problems since). Having had this mug and the Thermos Tumbler w/360 degree lid, I would make the following suggestion: if it has to seal 100%, get the Leak-Proof. If you can deal with losing a couple drops, get the 360. I liked drinking from the 360 better, but it didn't seal well enough to leave in a backpack. But it wasn't a big deal if I knocked it over and picked it back up.
Looks great and works great! September 18, 2007 Practical Man (Detroit, MI) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Stainless Steel Leak-Proof Travel Mug - 14-oz. If you need an all-purpose travel mug that looks good in the automobile, home or office, you can not go wrong with this product. Keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Worth the money!
Totally Leakproof November 11, 2007 N. Bailey (Chicago, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the best coffee mug I have ever had. It's completely leak-proof (when closed!) and keeps hot drinks very hot...almost too hot. It also has a cool clip that can be used to attach it to a backpack or I clip it to my panniers, so it is right on the outside for easy access. Highly recommended!
Best coffee mug ever, a thermos, duh? April 22, 2008 A. P. Shantz (Seattle, WA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Tried a few mugs out there. If you are serious about keeping your hot beverages, hot, and I mean hot, for 4-6 hours, warm through 8, then there is no other mug. Oh yeah, it's spill proof and has flawless pouring for no-spill drinking too. Limp wristers, a caution, if you tighten the lid moderately, the heat creates a suction and the lid tightens even more. This is the way to keep the liquids spill-proof and hot, but you can tighten it less for easier opening.
