I bought this bed hoping to replace it from sleeping in our real bed and so far it's worked wonderful. My puppy attached himself almost immemdiately to it. I decided to take the bed part off and lay on it so it would have my scent which worked well. It's very portable and washable. I move it between the bedroom and living room every day. My puppy is very comfy in it too. Now, I have a small 4 lb. pup and I'm not sure how well this would work on larger dogs but it works great for me!
