First let me say its NOT a bed but a nice furry pad for your pet to play on. I have an 1 1/2 yr old shepherd and a 3mo old Australian cattle dog who both love playing and napping on it. I actually brought another one for my vacation home. So easy to clean I just put it in the washer and dryer it comes out great! No complaints here!

The specifications indicate that the pad is 5 inches thick. They are about one inch thick. Still OK, but not as thick as you would expect.

This is not a bed, but a pad for a crate or in my case, to lay on floor to cushion floor for older dog. He seems to like it. The pad tends to slip on carpet, but for my purpose, it's just what I wanted and is better than laying big towels on the floor. I haven't washed it yet, but being able to wash the whole thing was high on my list of needs. For the money, I would buy again.

This is a very nice dog bed. Our dog loves it. I gave it only 4 stars because after you wash it and take it out of the dryer, every piece of lint just sticks to it. But we still like it.

Definitely not a bed, but more like a cover for a real bed - it's about as thick as a cheap bath mat.
The mat is less than 1" thick even though the description says 5" thick.
Very disappointed. Do not buy if you are looking for a comfortable, cosy bed for your pet.
