When I went to assemble these steps none of the holes and dowels lined up. It was like the machine that made these was not aligned correctly. I don't usually write reviews. I hope if someone else purchases the steps will write a review. I read the one review that was good and that was the reason for the purchase. The return policy of Amazon is easy.
Easy Steps April 6, 2008

Easy steps are easy to put together ( about 15 minutes ), and my little dog and cat enjoy the ease of climbing onto the daybed. It took no time for them to learn how to get up. The only problem the little dog encounters is trying to get down. The steps are a bit steep for her. The cat however has no problem. For the price of the steps and overall function, I am very satisfied and glad I made the purchase

I love this set of pet stairs. Easy assembly. Plenty sturdy for small dog. Removable carpet for easy clean up. These have worked out perfect for my aging doxie. Considering buying a second set for daughters doxie.
