Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Product Description Designed for both dogs and cats, this product eliminates tear stains from the inside out, plus helps to remove staining around the mouth and on the coat due to licking. Other topical products require high maintenance and yet will only remove the tear stains temporarily causing it to return worse than before. Angels' Eyes starts working before the tear stains begin. Simply sprinkle daily on the pet food; after three months, reduce it to four times a week; after six months, reduce it further to twice a week. The pet's coat should be completely tear-stain free anywhere from three to five weeks. Label Information Ingredients 100-percent pure beef liver, tylosin as tartrate Nutrition Facts Crude protein (min.) 67.6% Crude fat (min.) 10.6% Crude fiber (min.) 0.1% Moisture (min.) 6.0% Ash (max.) 4.8% Special Instructions Puppies (up to three months): 1/8-teaspoon daily Dogs 2 to 5 pounds: 1/4-teaspoon daily Dogs 5 to 8 pounds: 1/2-teaspoon daily Dogs 8 to 12 pounds: 3/4-teaspoon daily Dogs 12 pounds and up: 1-teaspoon daily Kittens (up to three months): 1/8-teaspoon daily Kittens 2 to 5 pounds: 1/4-teaspoon daily Cats 5 to 8 pounds: 1/2-teaspoon daily Cats 8 to 12 pounds: 3/4-teaspoon daily Cats 12 pounds and up: 1-teaspoon daily Warnings Safe during pregnancy and for puppies over six weeks old. In rare cases pets may not like changes to their food and not eat enough. If this happens, put Angels' Eyes in their water. When mixing, add the water to Angels' Eyes. Do not pour the powder into the water. Product Description Just a sprinkle a day keeps the tear stains away! As you keep trimming the stained areas, the newly grown coat will be totally clear. The growth pattern will determine if it will be completely tear stain free anywhere from 3-5 weeks. Contains beef liver and tylosin as tartrate.

5 out of 5 stars I had tried everything!   May 19, 2008

Although cost was never a real issue, I almost choked when I saw the price of Angel's Eyes. And the shock was compounded by knowing it wasn't a permanent solution but something my white minature poodle OLIVER would always have to take if I wanted bright, clean & clear eyes. I thought long and hard before buying that first tiny $32. bottle at the pet store. It only contained about 2 weeks of treatments, but none of the topical products had worked. Name it, I'd tried it.... I changed to a food without beets, cranberries, or blueberries. I only gave him bottled water as recommended by another poodle owner. I washed his face morning and night and kept applying products that promised to make his eyes diamond clear. The stain was so dark and permanent it certainly looked as if his eyes were bleeding down each side of his nose.

I can't say enough about this wonderful product and buy it in the largest possible size so I'm never without. Oliver is down to 3 times a week and it keeps that nasty red yeast away. It only took a few days to see the new growth around his eyes and by the end of the first week, I was able to carefully clip most of the stain away. It's been 2 months and Oliver's eyes sparkle. It's processed in a powdered liver base so there was very little problem getting him to accept it. I think I mixed a little grated cheese in the first week but he doesn't hesitate anymore, and he only eats dry food.

Great product and great company.

Yikes! When I opened the bottle it had little bugs
bursting out of it! I am glad I didn't feed it
to my pet!

1 out of 5 stars how to use when you have two dogs   April 7, 2008

Could someone come up with a suggestion for using this product on two dogs? They both use the same bowl, so using 1/2 teaspoon per day per dog is kind of hard if not impossible to do. Even if it was one dog....they only eat a little each day. How do I know I am not bombarding them with this tear stain product cummalitively. It would be great if they just came up with a pill formula for Angel Eyes product. The reason for my no star review? I am still figuring out to give this 1/2 teaspoon per day to my two maltese.

Sincerely,
Barbara O'Brien

4 out of 5 stars HALF A BOTTLE !!   May 14, 2008

I have just started to use this product but based on the reviews, I assume that it will work on my maltese. I am concerned that I did not get all of the product. The bottle was half full. Wondering if this is the norm?

My dog had very bad eye stains, and just like the product claims, within 3 weeks, they were gone! I really recommend this product, it is worth the price!
