I got this basket to carry my Yorkie on my bike. The basket arrived without the plate required for mounting the basket to the bike. My husband e-mailed the manufacturer and they immediately responded saying they would rectify the situation. Apparently there was some miscommunication on their end because we waited another week and a half and heard nothing from the company. After another e-mail asking about the situation, they apologized and within another week we had our missing part. The basket is large and the wire top keeps my dog from jumping out. There is also a way to secure him in the basket without using the top. My dog is 12 pounds and fits easily. I really like the basket because it is cute even without my dog in it! I am very happy.
