Product Description
3 Brass bells mounted on a Quality leather strap with ample leather lace to hang on door Training tip: Attach the bell string to the door you normally use to let your dog out. When it's time to "go outside", take your dog to the door, and say excitedly the question you normally use, I prefer "go outside??" When they show a positive response, jingle the bells and open the door. Once they begin their business, praise them ** If you have a fenced area, you can also teach your dog to come back in. Attach another set of bells on the outside of the door also Often times a dog will bark when they want back in. Go to the door, say whatever term you use for recognition, most often their name, when they bark, jingle the bells from the inside and open the door. This method will take some time and practice. A faster way is to stay outside with them, then when it's time to go in, walk them to the door, and repeat the same process as you did to go out. Always remember to praise your dog when they ring the bells. Don't be overly concerned that they will just ring them for the joy of it. They will want to be where "you" are most of the time, and it's not near as fun to ring them for themselves

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   July 20, 2008

Very solidly made and even attractive, in a rustic sort of way! Now we can hear ringing bells all over the house when our pup wants to go out! Note: this can be not so much fun in the middle of the night...plan ahead.
