VB-2 is a flexible, odorless and lightweight mineral filled vinyl-copolymer damping sheet. It has twice the damping and less than half the weight of asphalt damping materials and the ability to handle continuous temperatures to 250 F. For heavy duty damping requirements, VB-2HD is the perfect material. Both models feature a modified acrylic peel and stick adhesive that does not require the use of a heat gun for installation and are ideal for damping sheet-metal, plastic, fiberglass and wood. VB-2 thickness: .040". VB-2HD thickness: .075".
