Followed the stars but wasted my money. June 21, 2008 Christopher Mayernik (Maryland) 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3NG78I7MCC57X I was greatly disappointed when I discovered this camera is quite bad. The video is choppy and that is unacceptable. Everyone knows windows vista is all screwed up but I expect Microsoft products to work on windows vista. The connector is awful and will likely break soon after repeated attempts to snap the camera onto a laptop. Clearly it is inferior to the much better logitech camera. Buy this one ---> Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000
Great portable webcam January 19, 2008 Eric (Freehold, NJ USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I bought this for my frequent trips to Korea so I can keep in touch with my wife and daughter. The picture quality is very clear. The clip mechanism held on my Thinkpad T60p with no issues. I would prefer if the mechanism wasn't springloaded because I think this will break eventually, but that's hard to tell. The neoprene travel case is very useful for protecting the camera in my laptop bag. The camera worked flawlessly with Windows Live Messenger.
works, if it fits December 10, 2007 Kevin Davis (BATH, NY USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This webcam does have good video quality, but the clipping mechanism to hook it onto your laptop LCD is about the junkiest I've ever beheld. If your screen bezel is not absolutely flat or squared off (my Thinkpad has a little lip on it) you'll do all sorts of interesting contortions to find a way to hold it where it's usable. If you're not sure this will clip on to your laptop screen based on that description, then I'd suggest you pass on this one.
Really clear webcam January 18, 2008 Michelle Leberman (Alabama, USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very pleased with this product. My family in England say I am much clearer than my previous webcam and the microphone is excellent. It seems to adjust to the lighting in the room which is great. I love the fact that it attaches to my laptop so I'm more mobile when using Skype. It does seem to get quite warm when I leave it plugged in but that's my only complaint.
Good little camera June 14, 2008 M. Herring (Tampa FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my laptop so I could stay in contact while traveling. It works as advertised and recommend it. The clip that hold it on the laptop is a bit strange but I dont think it will break...if handled with care. Software is basic but I only needed it for the drivers anyway. Works perfect on Skype. Great price on Amazon, way cheaper than local retailers!
