DeLorme Street Atlas USA 2007 Plus features 133,000 new U.S. streets and roads, triple-referenced for accuracy by DeLorme mapmakers. you also get 3.4 million updated U.S. and Canadian streets and road, as well as Canadian street-level maps. Street Atlas USA 2007 Plus still includes the ability to add your own local routable roads-- a DeLorme exclusive. You also get nearly 100 square miles of free aerial images via online download--a $40 value. Simply select the hybrid view to see DeLorme road vectors on top of the imagery. There's also a new and easier way to communicate data revisions to DeLorme mapmaking staff. You'll also receive a confirmation email when changes are made.

Updated Places of Interest
Delorme has updated four million places of interest including hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and more. You also get DeLorme-verified exit service listings with phone numbers for major chains, as well as Canadian places of interest.

Street Atlas USA 2007 comes on one convenient DVD-ROM, making it easy to get all your materials from one place. Meanwhile, a customizable E-Z Nav toolbar has been placed across the top of the program interface. Plus, a Getting Started tutorial walks you through the major functions.

With supports for Pocket PC and Palm OS, Street Atlas USA 2007 is a great addition to your mobile software library. Street Atlas USA now supports Windows Mobile 5.0 (including the portrait, landscape, and high-resolution configurations of Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition and later).

Phone
Take advantage of updated residential and business phone listings that are searchable and locatable on detailed maps of the U.S. and Canada. The phone listing database now includes 14,827,444 Canadian residential and business phone listings.

XData
Use simplified data imports that provide more control when you're deciding what to import. Now, simple revisions to large data imports can be made manually without needing to conduct the entire import process all over again. There's also no limit on the number of imports you can conduct.

iPod Support
Now you can bring static maps with you on photo-capable iPods and other digital audio and video players. Scroll through your maps as you would with photos. This new feature is ideal for urban walking environments.

QuickSearch
Street Atlas USA 2007's new built-in intelligence overrules common typing errors to help return good matches. For instance, double commas (,,), periods instead of commas, and spaces do not prevent a good match from being offered.

GPS Integration
When paired with a GPS device, Street Atlas USA 2007's features a new handy slider control that allows positioning of the logfile playback. Meanwhile, the auto-zoom-to-turn feature now includes a maximum zoom setting control. You also get support for GPX files, as well as better waypoint management with the draw table view.

Product Description
More comprehensive mapping and GPS software than standard 2007 now that Street Atlas 2007 Plus is on DVD. You get everything in the regular version plus the XData and Phone features as well as more advanced Draw and Print capabilities.
Maps can be controlled using a variety of methods, including the traditional push-button zooming, which drills in/out while keeping the map exactly centered. Also, holding down the left mouse button enables you to drag and zoom, left-to-right, across the map, and moving the mouse in the same manner but in the opposite direction zooms out.
Phone tab along the bottom portion of the interface allows you to create custom searches for finding either residential or business phone numbers and locations. You can search by yellow-page heading and find all the diesel repair shops and then select only the ones you'd like to display on the map. You can use the phone listings in conjunction with the XData tab to create and save custom data files for frequent retrieval.
QuickSearch where you type common requests including towns, cities, lat/lons,ZIP codes, street addresses, colleges, and many more to receive the quickest possible matches. The places-of-interest search offers more advanced parameters and the advanced search is used when locating exact matches requires additional customer input.
voice tab of the software is where you train the software to recognize your voice for issuing routing and GPS commands while tracking. Ask common questions such as ?How far to my next turn?? and the software answers. The software also reads upcoming turn information, including the time to turn, time to finish, and name of the street to turn onto. New voice settings allow you to select how far in advance of your turn you'd like to be prompted. Voice can also be turned off if you prefer.
