Product Description Catz 5 and Dogz 5 are two great virtual Petz games - now they combine for even more fun! Watch and laugh as Dogz and Catz live on your computer desktop - you'll raisethem as they grow, play, and learn together. When they grow up, many will start families of their own. Tasty Treatz are one way to reward your Petz for good behavior - just don't overdo it. Use the spray bottle to keep particularly naughty Petz in line. Your Petz will run away if they feel neglected. Please adopt only those Petz you're sure you want and take good care of them!

Purrrrrrrrrrfect! January 22, 2005 E. Lerner-Lam 77 out of 84 found this review helpful
This game is really entertaining. The "voices" of the cats and dogs on the computer are simply realistic; and there is no need for a pooper-scooper! The best thing is, you can take care of your pet, leave on a vacation for a few days, start up the program, and the game will not go on without you! And better yet, there is no allergy, or cat fur, or smelly doggy breath aorund the house. Really well done. My daughter loves it.
The Perfect Kidz Game! February 10, 2005 26 out of 26 found this review helpful
If you are a kid, and your parents won't let you have a pet, then this is the perfect game 4 you! With the cutest pets, awesome graphics, and cool features, this is definately a good buy. Graphics-8/10: This game's graphics have really improved since Dogz 1 and the rest of the series. And the dogz look more real than ever. And now some of the themes are 3-D. Sound-6/10: Although the barks, purrs, and meows all sound pretty realistic, I still think that there could be more sound. But I must say, the sound is decent for a computer game. Responsibilty-9/10: If you are a parent, then I must say that this game will teach your child you to take care of a pet. Although you have no pooper-scoopers and dirty pets, this game still teaches responsibility. Yo have to feed, play, and love your pet, or else it will run away-A good lesson! Overall-10/10: This game is basically the best computer game ever made. But that's just my opinion. It may seem boring at first, but soon you will become addicted. I got Dogz 1 when I was 5, and I am now 11. And no, I am not sick of the series!
Great Game But There is a Catch February 17, 2005 Valerie (Florida) 20 out of 22 found this review helpful
I love this games. I remember a long time ago when they came out with the first one. This of course is way more fun. I agree with all the other reviews but I need to tell you something that nobody mentioned if you are thinking about getting this game. (by the way I am playing this game while I am typing right now) WARNING: This game contains technology intended to prevent copying that may conflict some CD-RW, DVD-RW, and virtual drives. This game is intended to prevent copying. GOOD NEWs WARNING: I have a computer with CD-RW and DVD-RW on it and it worked perfectectly. If you are not going to get this game because you have CD-RW or DVD-RW it MIGHT work on your computer anyway. You won't be able to return it once opened. So you will be taking a risk. I just wanted to let you know that there is hope for you still. Get this game it is perfect for children. This game is like a G version of the Sims except with pets and less complicated. This game is also fun for teens and adults.
Could have been better but the petz are cute. May 4, 2006 15 out of 22 found this review helpful
My friend and I both like this game but to me this game could have been better.Your petz can fight and your pets can get sick and sadly, can run away.My petz did fight but the rest I think I found out the easy way.I tried to get litterz but it did not work. There are mice and bugs in this game and can be a pain. You get to dress your petz up and give them baths and the great thing is you do not have to pay for ANYTHING!!Though only my Jack Russell Terriers eat there dog food.To get more of something or to bring something home, put it in your gatherings.About the mini games, well it is soooo hard to beat the beaver in Tic-Tac-Toe.If you are looking to win something,go to the place with the picture of the genie lamp on it.Note 1:Kill the bugs when you are at the genie place and click on the big vase on the left.Note 2:I only beat the beaver once.Note 3:This game is a lot of fun for a few days but after the few days, you will still enjoy the game. You can get a fish and fish feed and bug traps. If your friend has this game, try it at their house if they are okay with that.I hope my review helped and if you read my review, please say if this review was helpful to you.Sometimes I check on my reviews to see how they are doing.
