Hours of entertaining play October 10, 2006 Shelley Shay (Denton, TX **(God Bless the USA!!)**) 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
The older I get, the more I appreciate what are called "casual games" - simple objectives, like Tetris are more my speed. I grew up playing Asteroids, Centipede, Root Beer Tapper & Frogger... in many ways, this game is a combination of all of those. The main character of the game tells her boss to shove it (in a nice way, of course) and starts her own restaurant. She has a variety of customers... college kids, senior citizens, business men & women - and all have different levels of patience, tipping and fuses. As the main character, you must make sure you break even at the end of the day, or you could lose the restaurant. A really good haul can mean the difference in new decorations, a remodel or even a new building. The fish and chips restaurant segues into an Indian fare as you advance, and the main character attains special 'powers' as she morphs a la Vishnu into a Hindu goddess. A tad new-agey, but still fairly tame. I have spent hours playing this clever, well rendered, challenging game. It's a good way to escape w/o blowing things up or shooting at something on a screen.

As soon as you start playing this game you'll get hooked! It's a very fast paced game and you have to be quick at serving the customers that come at you restaurant. You play as Flo, a desk girl who decides to open her own chain of restaurants. It's an awsome game that leaves you hungry for more. You will love it !:D:D:D:D

Awesome game, I got hooked right away. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because after you play awhile, you get stuck at one level for a very long time. Almost impossible to pass. If you love this game, you will LOVE the game called "Cake Mania", after I got stuck on this game, I switched to that one.
One of the most addicting games I've ever played! June 28, 2006 24 year old girl (CA United States) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I'm not the kind of person who can play the most up to date video games b/c I find them very difficult to follow. However, Diner Dash is simple to learn and very addicting once you get the hang of it! If you want hours to go by in what seems like minutes, this is the game for you. I agree with the other reviewer that Cake Mania is similar to this one and I recommend both very highly!

This game is alot of fun. My whole family really gets into playing the game. The most fun is watching Flo run around trying to do everything herself. Highly recommended.
