Fun collection September 5, 2001 magellan (Santa Clara, CA) 59 out of 60 found this review helpful
For under 10 bucks you can't beat this collection of games. There are lots of different solitaire games, and many other miscellaneous games to pass the time. Great for those times when you're stuck waiting in the doctor's office or the checkout line. The collection includes lots of classic graphic games like Astroids, Froggy, Space Invaders, Flytrap, Pong, and so on, and more card games than you can shake a stick at, ranging from Crazy 8's, where you can have up to four players with the computer playing the other hands against you, to Cuarenta, a solitaire game I wasn't familiar with. There are many different types of solitaire. Altogether a pretty cool collection to fill those dull moments. The individual games don't take up much memory usually, but it you want to load many of them at once, make sure you have enough memory. One of the Palm's minor merits (among many, is that it doubles as a Gameboy, in addition to its organizer function, which probably makes it one of the most useful inventions of the 20 century.
Just a bunch of Freeware April 23, 2002 19 out of 20 found this review helpful
After playing one of the games for a little while, you get messages constantly popping up saying "If you want to continue playing, send money to ...". If you look at the back of the package, in fine print it says something about all of the games being "Trialware" or something like that.
Save your money July 13, 2002 Rosie (Ca USA) 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
I was very disappointed in this product! Most were shareware games that you would eventually have to purchase. Of the 100 "Great Games" I actually used less than a half dozen. Why pay for a procuct like this when you can go to a web site like ZD Net and download them for free. This was a real waste of money!
100 Shareware Teases for the Palm October 3, 2002 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I was disappointed when I found out many of the games require registering to get a fully functioning version. This should be clearly marked on the packaging and in all descriptions. I was going to say "you get what you pay for," but there are some great freeware apps out there for Palm. Search the 'Net!
Cool Games, But BEWARE! January 4, 2002 David Galli (Philadelphia, PA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This package has some really cool games and utilities. BUT: certain applications will only run for 14-15 days unless you register and PAY for the application on a website. IE: Infared remote control for VCR, TV, CD, DVD, will only run the TV unless you pay $20.00 at a website. I gave it three stars because it does have some neat games and utilites. All in all, it is pretty nice.
