A Water Aerobics must have. July 2, 2008 L. Casey (Texas) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
These aqua shoes are well made and comfortable. I wear "crocs" and they are as well made and comfortable as those. I use them for water aerobics and what a blessing. The first one hour water class I tried really tore-up my feet. I tried various aqua socks which wore out very quickly. My crocs were loose and came off in the water. Other class participants complained about how their athletic style water shoes don't dry between classes. There are no drying issues with these! You need to purchase these so that they are fitted to you nicely so that they don't come off in the water. Again, they run large. A word to the wise--order them one size smaller than you normally would order your shoes. They run large. I had to send back my first pair because I ordered my usual size. The ones that fit were actually one size smaller than I normally get.

I've been doing water aerobics for several years and these are the most wonderful water shoe I've ever used. They are light weight, durable, and have great arch support. Light weight enough to allow me to also swim in them. I highly recommend Speedo Women's Buoy Water Shoe. The service time and accuracy was also great.Speedo New Fleet Water Shoe Womens
Super comfy! August 8, 2008 K. Swan (Everett WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was a little hesitant about buying these since I have wide feet and I wasn't sure how comfortable they would be. But I put them on and they fit very well. When out of the water they dont make your feet sweat and in the water you hardly notice you have them on. They only problems I had was swimming in them and rocks getting in. Floating or walking around arent a problem, but if you try to swim in them they do slow you down. I was wearing them in a lake and every time I came up near the shore where the water was lapping it filled the shoes with sand and small stones. Then they werent able to get back out without a lot of wiggling around in the water. I mainly bought them for wearing in the boat though and jumping out in the water onto the rocky surface.
I was looking for these shoes forever!! August 16, 2008 Bookish (IL) I spent a couple of hours online looking for aqua aerobic shoes to replace my aging Ryka aqua athletic shoes. I wasn't excited about this because although those were good shoes that more than did the job of saving my feet from the pool bottom, they were a pain because they took so long to dry. It was miserable carrying around, and then handling, these wet, soggy things. I thought there HAD to be an alternative. Finally, finally I found it right here. A reviewer said the had bought these for his wife because they dried virtually instantly yet the harder plastic was excellent and sound protection for the pool bottom. How right he was! Caution though: He was, also, correct about the shoes being slippery on the painted lines at the bottom of the pool, too. On the other hand, their traction is fine in the rest of the pool and on the ground, out of the water. I am ordering my second pair now and urge all aqua aerobic fans to switch either from the high priced full joggers or the cheaply made water sox.
