Virtually indestructible, the non-corrosive shockproof construction will withstand the abuse normally encountered in mobile applications. The unusually long reflex projector with a narrow dispersion angle permits focusing of the sound beam where it is needed, with greater power concentration, penetration and effective range. It has a hand held CB style microphone that is attached to the unit so you'll be able to pass the mic around without having to pass the whole megaphone.It measures a massive 18 inches long, the bell is 11 1/2 inches in diameter, and the megaphone features an incredibly loud alarm / siren switch you can trigger with a gentle push of your finger when you want to get the crowds attention fast. It has a volume control that your thumb can easily adjust, and a sturdy black nylon neck strap that allows it to be worn around your neck. The neck strap is very useful so that you don't have to hold the megaphone at all times, instead allowing it to hang while using the separate mic to talk. Maximum output power is 45 watts which gives you an effective range of up to 1 MILE!! (the effective range of the siren is a mile and a half), and it uses 8 "C" cell batteries (not included).This is a brand new item, still in the original box, and is incredibly useful any time you have a group of people getting together.
