The Stamina Pilates Performer JP allow you to perform more sophisticated exercises and mount and dismount between exercises more easily, as it is elevated about 14 inches off the floor. It features a built-in foldable stand that allows for easy storage when not in use. The 86-inch long by 19-inch wide Pilates Performer JP comes with three resistance cords for four levels of training, a two-position head rest, removable foot bar, and ultra-smooth glide rollers. The oversized, high density shoulder pads give added comfort and support. To get started, check out the beginner level workout video featuring Pilates expert Marjolein Brugman, which demonstrates 26 of the over 32 possible exercises. The delivery was quick, it was easy to put together, it's easy to use. This machine is good for someone just getting into exercise or someone wanting to keep flexible. Anyone into building serious muscle or a more hard core workout probably needs to consider something else. Also anyone short on space may want to reconsider, it doesn't fold up or roll under the bed.

This is my second Pilates JP and I have to say it's a good equipment for anyone caring to look after his body. No need to lift heavy weight and it's easy to use and fun. Obviously not for those interested in building blocks of muscles. Delivery was quite prompt.

I purchased this item 3 years ago on QVC. I'm very happy with it. My only complaint is that they did not give me a new video even though it stopped working after 3 uses. (I waited too long) When you take the time to do these exercises, they are very effective. I have more energy, stand with better posture and look forward to my other exercises to compliment it with. I have to disagree with the first commenter though. It does fold up. It's on the QVC website. I highly recommend this product for people who have a hard time motivating yourself to exercise. It's a great way to start the day!!!

This reformer only has three tension bands, which are not nearly adequate for the mid to upper level user. Also, the carriage does not roll smoothly on it's tracks, oftentimes leaving you stuck mid-exercise.
It DOES work, however. Just do not expect it to function like the $3000 reformers at your Pilates studio!

Love the equipment and for such a low price, I feel it definitely had value. I'm getting an excellent workout and feel more tone after just 3 weeks.
