This is a great looking football. The grip is amazing on this ball too. Also remember however that this ball is OFFICIAL SIZE. So it could be a little too big for some people.

I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. The tackified surface really helps you get a grip on this ball. Thought it would be a good product for him to learn how to throw a football. Will not prepare for the slick feel of an official leather football, but good to learn the basic fundamentals of slinging the pigskin.

If you are looking for a good quality back yard football that won't break the bank, This Is It! These footballs are NCAA size, a little longer and have a slightly smaller girth, than the pro pattern footballs. This plus the tacky leather makes the football easier to grip and pass for me, than say "The Duke". This is not the NCAA or NFL game ball however.

Well I ordered this ball in anticipation of a men's indoor flag league that I compete in... I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found that they had sent me the wrong ball. The pleasant part is the fact that they sent me an all leather, NFL "The Duke" football. Hey, who am I to argue with an upgrade to a ball about 3x's the price!

For the price, this football is perfect! It's great to toss around with your father/son in the backyard as previously stated not to mention it makes for a really fun game ball if you and your friends want to get together and toss this baby around on the weekend.
