For those with giant hands, these grips are great. For those with medium or small hands, it's like gripping a rubber log. I switched back to my stock grips...

Having removed the uncomfortable (too hard ) Pachmayr grips that came with my Browning Hi-Power , I was a bit hesitant to try this interesting looking grip on my Springfield Loaded 1911. I liked the look of the rubber/wood combination, so I replaced the Hogue grip I was using. After the first 50 rounds, I'm very impressed. It fits my hand well (large/x-large), and the rubber is soft enough to absorb recoil at least as well as the Hogue grip did. It also offers a good non-slip surface. I also like the looks on the polished and black 1911. The grip fit this gun perfectly.
