Product Description The 2007 EO (expandable object) series is the original brainchild of Phil McConnachie, internationally renowned kite designer from Australia. This is a dynamic box kite with intersecting elliptical planes that flys stable or as a marvelous tumblera. Completely unique and eye-catching in the sky, and best of all there's literally no assembly required. The expandable structure erects itself with a built-in elastic as you remove it from its unique travel clasp. Just find some wind, pop it open, and watch it soar and tumble as it climbs into the sky. Three contrasting color combinations can be flown in multiples on a single line for a spectacular show. Convenient, unique travel clasp holds 200 feet of line with winder handle (included). Six intersecting planes, 30" wingspan, 5-25 mph wind range, Colors available Fire (red/yellow orange), Citrus (yellow, light green, green), Sky (light blue, blue, purple). Package flattens to 3/8" x 13.5" x 35" and includes 200' 20 lbs dacron line on handle winder. Voted Best Kite for at the prestigious 2007 Bristol Kite Festival, the EO is one of those really special designs that stands apart and always attracts a crowd. A must have for every kite enthusiast.
Amazon.com Product Description Called EO for "expandable object," this family-friendly single-line box kite with intersecting elliptical planes flies stable like a traditional kite or, with a tug on the string, tumbles and dances like a sport kite. No assembly is required. The kite's expandable structure springs open with built-in elastic as it's released from a clasp that keeps it flat (less than 1/2 inch thick) for travel and storage. Easy instructions are printed on the clasp so they're always handy. The kite has a 30-inch wing span, flies in winds of 5-25 mph, and can be "stacked" with other Prism EO kites on a single line for a colorful display. Featuring Prism's "Fire" color pattern, it's made of ripstop polyester and has a fiberglass frame. The kite's ready-to-fly package comprises a 200-foot Dacron line and winder, both of which go with the kite in the travel clasp so they won't be misplaced. Specifications: - Wing span: 30" cm (76 cm)
- Material: ripstop polyester
- Frame: fiberglass
- Line: 200' Dacron
- Line rating: 20 pounds
- Recommended wind speed: 5-25 mph
About Prism An avid windsurfer, pilot and competitive sailor, Mark Reed, now president of Prism Designs, discovered two-line sport kiting in the late 1990s, when he was in college and sport kites were, at best, primitive. In 1991, his hobby became a business in a tiny house in Seattle. From that modest beginning, Prism has grown into a worldwide business, introducing and explaining the sport as it grew. Today, Prism manufactures in Seattle and Asia and carries two lines of kites, with models for first-time flyers up to world-ranked competition pilots.

Very fun kite, unique and easy to fly February 18, 2007 groundeffect (St. John's, Newfoundland) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
A friend said to me once, this kite is great for a date, and, well, he's right! It's a single line kite; it's easy to fly. You end up taking turns, being close and sharing the experience of flying and kiting together, while getting to know each other! A nice grassy field is recommended, or any place during sunset for the date idea. But any open area works really. It's also great for kids to play with on those afternoons at the park. The design is very unique, and it's always assembled. It comes in a travel clasp that keeps the kite flat when you travel with it or store it in your car, or house etc... It opens in one flick and out pops the kite, already for flight. Very easy and cool design. I've had a lot of fun and smiles flying these. I like the Citrus color the best... the ICE colors comes in at a close second.
go fly a kite June 27, 2008 Barbara J. Aquino (Stockton, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This kite is easy to fly and the best part is that there is nothing to put together before flying. It's easy for kids to do as well. I recommend this kite.
Do not like packaging conditions August 30, 2008 Paulange (Newport, RI, USA) I got this kite as a gift for my dad. When it arrived, the kite had no bags or anything "protective" of the fabric, and it came with what seem to be grease stains in one side. I called customer service and asked to exchange it for another one of the same model and color, but the one they sent was in worst condition than the first one. We have not tried it yet; I am sure it is a great kite but I am very disappointed with the state in which it arrived.
