Kinesio Athletic Tape is latex free, and is durable for 3-4 days of use. I've had severe constant pain for weeks following knee replacement surgery. My Physical Therapist applied Kinesio Tex Tape and I've had such an immediate reduction in pain, I've been able to stop taking most pain medication. It stays on 3-5 days and stays on during water therapy. Caution: Do not use this product unless you've received instruction from a trained physical or occupational therapist.

It is a must that you know your anatomical muscle origins and insertions.
If you do the results are miraculous. The same applies for use with the

The Tex Tape is a deluxe athletic tape.. curves to the shape of taped area and stretches for flexible support. Its easier to remove than regular tape. It is pricey but worth it for periodic use.

Today my PT taped both knees (from shins to mid-thighs) with bright pink (red) Kinesio tape.
I am getting ready for double replacements. From the start I have felt comfort and relief from pain. I expect to be able to use it after surgery too.
Really a great invention!
