These cards can handle the wear and tear of normal games, outlasting paper cards up to 500 times. Completely washable, you don't need to worry about soiled cards. A quick wipe with a damp washcloth, then dry and they are ready to go. Each set comes in its own hard plastic case for storage. Whether you play solitaire, have a kitchen table game or manage a card room - once you try COPAG you will never use any other cards again. Copag is compared to KEM cards at 60% of the cost. Try them, they will convince you there are no other reasonable options for quality 100% plastic cards. The history of COPAG is directly linked to the history of card games in Brazil. Pioneer in the manufacturing of decks, COPAG has been in this market since the beginning of the 20th century. Albino Goncalves, a graphics designer, founded the company in 1908 in the city of Sao Paulo and ever since COPAG has kept its position as the absolute leader in its market segment. Today, from its modern and large industrial facilities located in Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, COPAG sends part of its production to the international market, exporting decks to the United States as well as to different countries in Latin America.

Dark Cards January 3, 2007 Michael Wold (Willits, Ca.) These cards have some great flair, however, I found them hard to read and tell between suits. I've since gone back to regular white backed cards.
Sorry, KEM January 8, 2007 Dann Fox (Alexandria, Virginia) I have been playing with a set of KEMs in my chips case and got these to go with my new poker tabletop. Qualitywise, they play the same. The missing star is for the artsy design. I chose these for the backs, but the black fronts of the cards can get distracting. Excellent value for the price, especially if you've already been spoiled by KEMs.
Best Copags ever February 2, 2007 zender (USA) These are great cards. They handle better than conventional Copags as they're a bit thicker. There's a bit of a grainy rather than super-smooth (slick) feel so no top card slide with them either. They are flexible and shuffle well too. As to the other comments relative to their unique color - well, that's part of what makes this setup special. These are gorgeous cards. I've found that if lighting is adequate there are no complaints as to difficulty reading the cards. When lighting is so-so, I use a different setup.
Sleek Slick Black Cards May 12, 2007 Ryan Baltzley These cards are very cool, they're black, durable, it takes a little getting used to because the cards are different then the traditional playing cards, but they are very cool and fun to play with.
Good as a novelty item... August 8, 2007 WT ...but not so good for actual use. It's hard to tell the value of the card if you can't read the numbers in the upper left/lower right corners of the card. With standard cards you can count the number of hearts/spades/diamonds/clubs in the center of the card even if you can't read the number in the corners of the card clearly. With these cards the non-face cards all look like aces if you can't see the value of the card in the corners. For example, 2-10 of clubs all have a big white club in the center with little black clubs on the large, white center club. The ace of clubs has the same white club in the center of the card with one small black club on the white club. It's hard to see the little black clubs so from a distance, or if you have bad eyesight, they all look like the ace of clubs. They look cool and I like Copags, but I don't recommend this particular set for any serious play.
